The Venetian, Las Vegas – October 6-7th 2024

A small delegation of MILGAM researchers (Dana Dekel, Glen Dighton, and Sam Treacy) attended the ICRG conference in Las Vegas in October, taking the opportunity to network and discuss ideas with a variety of researchers working in the field of military gambling research across the United States.

Glen Dighton and Sam Treacy also presented posters at the conference. Glen’s poster detailed an analysis of results from the UK Armed Forces Veterans’ Health and Gambling Study. Sam’s poster showed results from the Scoping the Accessibility of Safer Gambling Information in the United Kingdom Armed Forces: Pilot Evaluation (SAGE) and summarised the ‘live’ research projects currently being conducted by the team.
