Look Back to Move Forward
The Look Back to Move Forward project, led by Prof. Simon Dymond at Swansea University, aims to create a timeline-based assessment and treatment monitoring tool for veterans. The tools developed will identify prevalent difficulties previously observed within this population including gambling, substance use, and mental health. The research team includes professionals from Swansea University, Adferiad Recovery, and Anglia Ruskin University enhancing the impact of this research. The project aims to benefit veterans, their families, charities, policymakers, clinicians, academics, and the public by providing validated tools, guidelines, and awareness of the difficulties faced by veterans.
